Eric Panea
Eric is an LA based artist, currently using recycled materials to create body like abstractions which hang from above. The figures mimic the movement of the body frozen and blurred. Like a picture of a cat running, the streaks of limbs blend into a solid form. The figures represent those figures which go unseen/ spirits who move through the world without permanence. To be unseen in a society flooded with data mining, the obliteration of privacy, and filled with obsession, is a rare and precious thing. The anonymity of a soul has all but disappeared under the red light of the security camera.
